Currently, we are seeking experienced Legal Assistants/Paralegals in the practice area of Personal Injury, Medical Malpractice, Insurance Defense, Commercial, Civil Litigation, Family Law, Probate & Estate and Real Estate for positions in Miami, Ft. Lauderdale and Boca Raton, FL.

Job Description

• Ability to handle Pre-Litigation and/or Litigation files.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Scheduling initial consultations
• Conduct Discovery
• Assist with file organization
• Prepare pleadings and motions.
• Prepare files for hearings, depositions, mediations and trials
• E-filing
• Calendaring
• Communicate with clients, witnesses and other parties involved
• Paralegals responsible for billing time

Job Requirements

• 2 years experience in a Legal Assistant/Paralegal role.
• Good verbal and writing communication skills required.
• Good computer skills
• Bilingual/Spanish a plus
